@Kit No, I've got no Naval connections. I'm an Engineering Surveyor and I was checking the lifting equipment, cranes etc on the vessels.

Love Truro Jack our son plays football for them so we have been around the city many times this season before going to the game...hopefully will be the 1st time in the z though

Our son played a few games for Truro 5 or 6yrs ago. He played South Western League football for Newquay, Wadebridge and St Blazey for a while. He's at Penzance at the moment. He's a bit of a journeyman but doesn't take it seriously enough.

Did you go to Wembley with Truro for the FA Trophy final against Totton a few years ago?

We were there to see Truro win 3-0. Great day

Our lad has only been there this season Jack ..He was at Bideford last season and Weymouth the one before so we have seen quite a lot of the westcountry, currently top goalscorer for Truro so hopefully he will stay put.. lol

I am enjoying my day Jim. I've been in the office all day today writing my reports from yesterdays surveys and now I'm relaxing in my hotel room in Southampton.

I'm currently listening to the Barcelona v Paris St Germain game and them I'm going down to the bar for a couple of pints of Stella

I usually drink Real Ale but the draught beer in the bar here isn't too good. I'm not a lager drinker but I don't mind a pint of Stella. We call it "wife beater"
