Am looking for advice - my nearside replacement halo sidelight has stopped working. I spliced the wiring into the sidelight wiring (which still works - so power ok) - do these led halo surrounds fail and, if so, any fix? Off side unit works fine- I may have to refit the originals if I can't fix 🙄

What car? You say "stopped" working so did it work previously. If they LED, then LED are polarity sensitive incase you didn't know?

Sorry, a bit more info - I replaced the original units with the halo style on my Z3. All worked well until I dropped the car off for a bit of paintwork (side of car, not front) and the halos aren't working - sidelights on front panel work as well as headlights and main beam. Have had a check of wiring but don't want to take the headlamp units out if I can help it. I've added a pic to show the type of headlights I've got. Just to confirm it's just one side that's affected- I hope this is enough info - I'm just concerned the let's which light up the halos have both burnt out or blown with no way of repair.

All sorted - had to take unit out only to discover a connection had worked loose - and t-tony, thanks for reply - it was a bit of a premature question, I should have bitten the bullet and taken out the unit in the first place instead of spending a couple of hours peering into dark crevices under the bonnet!
