A guy near me is parting out a 01 coupe: Boston green. He’s asking $3400 for the whole car.

The front is pretty much gone, but from the doors back seems to be in good shape. Anyone need anything? I’m trying to decide if I should haul it home.

Buy the whole thing. The front end is going to be much much easier to fix than the rear. All Z3 roadster parts can be swapped in.

It looks like someone dropped a boulder on the front. It’s REALLY GONE.

But a lot of the rear bits are getting next to impossible to get now. Like the glass and some interior panels.

Im considering buying it just to stash, but I only really need a couple of the parts myself, so I figured if I had some people wanting some for cheap, I could offset that 3400 fast

That’s disappointing. Another one bites the dust.
Very much worth keeping it for spares at that cost.

The rear axle and its components are worth it alone never mind the coop specific items like you mentioned.

If it's an M Coupe, I'd definitely buy it. If it's a non-M coupe, the only things that would be worth saving are the Coupe parts, but there are lots of them.

The glass, except the windscreen, the sunroof, the tailgate, rear lights, rear bumper, quarter lights on the doors are different. I wouldn't bother with the normal z3 parts, as they are readily available.

I didn’t actually know the rear bumper was different on them.

I’ve been having trouble finding roadster parts these days. Especially interior bits. And I’m only an hours drive from the plant in Spartanburg. Lot of things available, but the shipping cross-US for anything of any size kills it.
