Just seen this, Guy Martin will ride a specially prepared Triumph motor bike at the Bonneville salt flats in a speed record attempt.

He was due to ride a hydrofoil on Lincoln's Brayford marina last week but apparently there was too much weed in the water, or that's the way I heard it.

A guy in our office rides at Bonneville Salt Flats every year or two. Completely the opposite kind of person to Guy Martin in character as well as being a dead ringer for Salman Rushdie. Maybe he really is Salman Rushdie

@Macca met Fred Dibnah in the 80's when he was in Bolton and said that he was a very nice bloke. Apparently he told them to Foxtrot Oscar until they told him they were fans and then spent a while chatting to them. We always watched his programmes.

We like Guy Martin too but I don't think that he would be a good presenter on Top Gear as he has no filter and he doesn't really like talking to people.
