Hi all

Could do with some assistance to figure this out. I've got constant orange DSC & Brake Hydraulics warning lights on (photo below). I've changed all four ABS/Wheel Sensors and the lights are still on. Do i need to reset them and if so how? Or, knowing the wheel sensors are all fine, is there another issue i need to look for? I'm sure there are threads elsewhere on this but I couldn't spot one!

The irony is, the lights came on 3-miles from the MoT test center!

Thanks for your help (in anticipation!).

3 litre Z3 pretending to be Italian exotica. Two previous E89 Z4s.
If your wheel sensors are all good, it is probably an issue with one (or both) of the yaw sensors under the passenger (left) carpet.
I hope not as they are very expensive. They tend to corrode if there has been any water ingress, as the water gets through the foam and sits there for ever.

Have you checked for codes? If it is the yaw sensors a code will tell you. In fact whatever it is, a code will be logged.

When I bought my Z3 these lights were on. It had passed an MOT the day before (because the seller has a 'mate' in the MOT world). He thought it was an ABS wheel sensor issue so changed them, but it didn't cure the issue. I think they found the issue afterwards but realised the yaw sensors are expensive, so did a 'dodgy' MOT instead.

You really must scan the car and see what codes have been set to point you in the right direction for a fix.

Hi. It could be the solder joints in the abs until. I've posed a how-to on this. Two joints crack and cause this. It sounds like a scary fix but it's dead easy, getting the box open is the hard bit

i had that pop up a few weeks ago, i used my c110 scanner, nothing came up on that, but it did clear it, and its stayed off, the other thing it did at the same time was fix the central locking on passenger door, that now works, and i didnt even look into this, so maybe its connected somehow??
