The outer sills on my z3 are at the end of life and I’m thinking of changing the sills for grp sills from classic coach works.
I found a thread from 2020 in the search, where people seemed very impressed with the idea, but has anyone fitted them?
I like the idea of grp sills and not worrying about rust in the future and also the lower cost, but is the fitment any good?

Let me know if you can

New sills are still available from BMW and are not overly expensive - around £150-£180 each side IIRC.
Fit them and forget about rust for another 20+ years.
Or do as I did and waxoyl the underside and potentially extend the life further?

My experience of GRP parts is that they never quite look the same as steel, and as they age they often twist / change shape slightly causing annoying gaps.
