Groupon Service offer

My newly acquired Z3 is in need of a service. Went to groupon and there were three service offers. A full service was on offer from RJ Engineering for for £49 but got it for £41.25 in a flash sale. Some have penalties if the engine is over a certain size but at £42.25 I cannot complain. There are also offers on air con etc so it is worth keeping an eye out for these offers. Booked in for next Saturday

Think I spent more than that on oil........presumably that's not an oil change?

It is an oil and filter change with 62 point service. In other words oil change and check everything. Normal price is £100 from the company. Groupon is full of offers like this. For an extra 30 they would do air con recharge and MOT.

That sounds suspicious, as Steve says, you can spend more than that on oil. What are they doing for that price.

Garages get oil at a discount rate. You can only get this deal once from that garage. I think that by drawing you in they hope that either you become a regular customer or the car needs work. But that is not going to happen !

Just back from the service. They were part of the Bosch group and seemed to have done a thorough job. They complimented how clean the car was underneath and I was told to keep it as values were going up. Only problem was a slight rumble from either the power steering pump or alternator. They did top up the windcreen fluid free of charge which some garages charge extra for.
