@handsomejackuk That stuff used to be available in aerosol tins. Might still be. It's not chrome though, just "chrome finish" paint. It's widely used on plastic stuff such as on kiddies toys etc.

It looks very impressive

You may well ask got home from work yesterday partner in floods of tears because she had come up drive way Miss judged distance and hit the front of my Zed with the discovery and broke both grill surrounds and dented the bonnet between them. She was very lucky because I've got it up on axle stands at the moment with all rear beam drive shafts and every thing out of it If she had knocked it off the stands it would have been a right off.

That's no so good is the bonnet going to be ok.
She just touched which just cracked both grills and dented the narrow part of bonnet in between which I've managed to sort out. in my partners defence she is short and the drive way comes up steep and then flattens out so the nose of discovery is high and she just Miss judged it. Plus because I'm working on the zed it's further forward by 6ft than normal so I can work behind it.

Probably aftermarket or not clipped in correctly if genuine. Should fit nice an flush and even all the way around. I have yet to work out a way to get them out without breaking a tab or two...

I've used a few flat blade screwdrivers and another pair of hands to remove them. Never broken one tab
