I've bought some of this polish but on the label it says 'not suitable for cellulose acetate.Use special product Greygate plastic polish CA.'
As the rear window is fairly new i didn't want to risk it without asking on this fountain of knowledge ;)
Knowing my look it's the wrong stuff and it will melt my window :meh:

I used it on my MX5 Steve and on my Z3 . Not required on the Z4 as its glass. I gave away the last drop I had to TonyZ4 the other day. I also use it on the headlights and rear lights, it keeps them sparkling!

Tony.

Cheers @t-tony,i have used it on the head lights of the van as they were very foggy looking and it has brought them up a treat, can even see the orange bulb in the indicator now.
Just wasn't sure on the rear window, but if it was fine on yours it'l do for me ;)

Bought some of that Maguire's plastic window cleaner and found it bleeding useless, :(ended up using Colgate toothpaste which worked a treat and at a fraction of the price,:joyful:after about 2 cleans I could notice the difference, the inside is a pig to clean properly but if your screen is 15yrs old like mine you can't expect to get it any where near new, the fold is the hardest part to do anything with and I've just grown to live with it. Good luck Steve anyway, hope it works for you.

Mmmm minty fresh eh =))
I know some folk on here use Greygate and swear by it so i got some but just wanted to check there weren't different varieties of the same stuff.
Worked great on my van's head lights but the window on my zed is only a few months old and i want to look after it hence checking i'd bought the correct stuff
Going to give it a go now and see how it go's.

Yep looks like you found out the hard way Steve, Halfords window cleaner is all you'll need if it's in good condition cos that's just a liquid one that gets the grime off all windows including the plastic one. Then if you don't mind the smell there's always vinigar in a little warm water then newspaper to shine it up, used it for years until I got fussy with this Z of mine. =)) Roy.
