Anyone live in the area, we are heading that way on Friday and returning the following Wednesday, (not in the Z of course) and yes we are visiting the old Smithy and renewing out vows, we got married there ten years ago to the day and even the time, we are also staying in the same cottege we stayed in ten years ago, its in a village called Beeswing,
Carrie only told me last night so that was some surprise and I can't wait to marry her all over again,
The reason for the post is could anyone recommend some places of interest to visit, we are travelling up to Loch Lomond on Saturday.

Lol we were married in Gretna 4 years ago last April in the anvil Hall. A great place to visit for tha day is Dumfries I grew up in the Lake District so anywhere in the lake is amazing Kendal’s also worth a visit too.
When we’ve done 10 years the wife’s said we’re doing it again but this time on a beach.

Thanks pal, I had a suspision that something was coming but I thought it would be on a beach in Mexico as we are going in December

Jue was aware of something months ago mate. Could well have been this.
Congratulations to you both, we stayed that way some years ago. I'll rack my brains for places to visit. :thumbsup:

Why is our marriage licence the only licence we have without an expiry date?

I wonder how many would get renewed if they expired every 10 years.

I'd be on wife number 4 now ...... or very dead =))
 
If they had it , I would bet that the SORN option would be used quite a lot:whistle:
 
congrats chap, another December wedding:), im going for the 1st December, might be a bit cold but after last winters nightmare it seems quite fitting for us.:)
