I did the conversion myself, yes, with the help of a couple of good friends who know a lot more than I ever will.

Final stage is in January when I'll be getting the stripes put on- anthracite grey twin stripes down the centreline flanked with a red pinstripe.

Keep all posted, have you done or planning an interior change as well?

Not really- the plan for the near future is to simply use it & enjoy it. The steering wheel logo has been replaced with a cobra badge similar to the wheels, the interior light is now LED instead of the OEM glow worm and I've put a replacement stereo in but that's about as far as it goes for now. The only thing other than that was new bushes in the rocking-chair seat.

That being said, if anyone has any bright ideas they'd be willing to share then I'm all ears.
