Working on the new 2.8, the green seats are a little shabby and could do with a redye.

We've worked out they are mossgreen with colour code q3ca... we think...

Anyone know where to get the dye? I tried ebay and couldn't find any! only the basic colours

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Liquid leather may have the dye on file if not they require a small swab and will get you a perfect match :)

I’ve just purchased an extended leather interior, but the leather cover on the passenger airbag is knackered and needs replacing. Looking for a place that could replace the leather in the same colour. Would you recommend them?

Sounds like you have what I have in my car now. I found a new set in green for £50 on eBay and replaced the beige.@Perfectjack! JIM

Out of interest, does the extended leather cover the dashboard of just the passenger airbag please?

This drivers side could not be repaired so was fitted with brand new leather matching the colour exactly and the stitching the same as it was before.

The extended leather option has:
  • Dashboard pods - driver and passenger sides both covered
  • Boomerangs on side of centre console covered
  • Top of door cards covered
  • Matching colour steering wheel

My 97 1.9 has the extended leather covering the complete dash to answer your question. As far as I know it's all part of the package with the above items!! JIM

I have used some of the dyes available from Ebay. I found that some of them leave a thin coating, this either peels off or seems to act as a magnet for the dirt, 3 weeks after applying it tends to look worse than it did (on light colours).
I now use good old boot polish, you can get it in most colours and it doesn't have to be the exact shade. When you apply it it blends in rather like blending in a paint repair. Just give it a good buff after applying. Do be careful as it does make the seats shiny and slippery, if you brake too hard you'll end up in a pile under the steering wheel!

Guess that depends on the carpet depth? :)
