Archived Great Yarmouth Sea Front Meet - 7th September (Prov)

Good Morning All! BIt of a grim Saturday Morning here in Caister!

Anyway so the plan is as (provisionally) follows:

A sea front and convoy drive followed by a meal at the The Bell In details of the pub can be found here http://www.bellinn-stolaves.co.uk/Welcome.html and then what ever we decide afterwards. I thought it would be pretty cool to visit the "Car Enthusiasts" that park up in there all show and no go cars on a Sunday evening.

Im thinking of 1200hrs meeting at the very top of the sea front possibly the outer harbour as I believe there is no parking cost unless people are wanting to walk down the front, Im just thinking of the spaces they may be limited?

Then when everyone arrives a drive out to The Bell Inn.

Its my first time organising an event with the help from Shelly! (Thank you for that)

All i need is by reply to the post names and how many in the part so i can book us in at The Bell Inn

Super idea, Luke, Allan & Shelly live quite near there, I'm sure they would go and the EAC celebrated their Christmas do at Potters too, so they would possibly be up for it, but not 1st Aug (Next weekend)

Ok sounds great not sure who I need to speak to but I will find out Monday. More of an organised meet rather than a park up. We really need to show off the Z!

Hi Luke were up for that , we live in Bradwell , not far from you, any help you need let me know,
We should book a table and go for a meal , as will be hard to find a place in Gt . Yarmouth to eat ,
Also a Sunday would be best for us as we both work Saturdays
We could also have a drive to Gorleston , lovely small seaside town .

Gorleston is nice, we've stayed at Hopton a few times. There is a nice pub at Hopton which does good food.

Just received an email back from the Great Yarmouth event organisers and they have said they always like new events, and have asked me for a plan of action and a date.

My missus is a Kings Lynn girl, most Sundays we are at Hunstanton, so a few more miles to Yarmouth isn't a problem, so we would come.

We are looking forward to this, try not to make it 24th August as the EAC will be looking skyward at the Lt Gransden Airshow waiting for the two Lancasters & The Vulcan on that day.

Sorry guys been busy with sorting out my house purchase! This really has had a great lot of interest I'm currently arranging a date with yarmouth council and I will check with everyone before I give them a definite time and date. How does that sound?

Hi guys ! I'm away this week but still busy on the emails. Like most things the other party is slow getting back to me! I am awaiting the dates on which we are able to hold the event. I'm hopefully going to be able to get it done before I go back to work on the 14th of September. I will keep you posted with correspondence I would imagine if I send 10 emails a day they might start replying!!
