Guys I would like to just take a second to promote these guys for Calipers, the finished product service and communication has been outstanding, bloody great price too, I got 2 rear calipers from them. serviced, and powder coated to the colour of my choice, also got a pair of carriers all in for £100 and didn't need to return my old calipers and they offer a discount if you do,

Forgot to add that they are rear calipers Mike, they are for Z4 but fit Z3 carriers, not sure how they will feel as they give 23% more breaking pressure so might have to upgrade the front

What do you need to upgrade the front?

To maintain the braking bias. It's typically around 60% to the front and 40% to the rear.

Sean will now have 23% more effort on the rear (assuming increase in braking surface=increase in braking effort), which suggests he may now have more of a 50:50 split.

Do they have a web site? And/or is that the ebay listing you and I talked about?

Could they not have refurbed a pair of Z3 calipers? Or did you take what was on the shelf as you wanted them quick?

They where from the ebay listing Robert, I am planning on putting E46 carriers on with 300mm discs, what will the added increase at the front be
