Well, missed out on Zedfest as my old man is up post being rather poorly (galactic understatement), so took him out for a gentle spin in the Beast that is Bella to Pooley Bridge for lunch. Just short of a 100 mile round trip managing 35+mpg (55mph)

Tactical parking. Those from the Lakes Cruise will recognise this field.

Great weather for zedding - your photos are crisp and clear - do you have a good camera?

Bless you mate taking your old man out. My mum has early dementia and I took her shopping on Friday evening as my dad has recently had an op and can't drive. She's 76 and never been in a ragtop. All she said all the way there and back was "this is it now, the only way to travel" bless her!

Many thanks mate. These and the vast majority of my photos are taken with my Samsung Galaxy Alpha phone, 10mp. Does the job for most things.

Nice one buddy  he's not a big car fan but I could gauge that he was happy. Oh, he had a BMW 2002ti many years ago ........ before he wrote it off! Doh :arghh: My mother-in-law has the same mate, feel for you but hey, the sun is out and the glass is half full, always
