Bought one of these off Ebay and it was delivered quickly. Totally brand new still in sealed packaging (also comes with a neat zip up case to keep it in).

A little pre-purchase googling revealed that it's one of these items...

I think they make them for various manufacturers and the one I got actually has 'Iveco' embroidered on the zip up bag so it was probably intended for light commercial use and will be more than up to the job for the Zed. The gel canister is in date until 2016.

I reckon this is pretty much the same as the BMW mobility kit at a third of the price. I couldn't find a genuine BMW one for less than £85 plus delivery. This was £30 delivered.

I went for the BMW tyre inflation kit, expensive but it will do the job. Called my local dealer and they price matched the cheapest supplier I could find online for £90 :-o

Comes in a compact zip bag, with full instructions, pump, gloop, seperate tyre pressure guage and a pair of gloves to keep your hands clean.

Hi thanks for the heads up I have been carrying the one from my Volvo since i checked my spare on the Z3 and found it in two halves from corrosion, I have also now purchased one of these so i can leave the volvo one where it belongs.

I think once you have used it to inflate a punctured tyre you have to replace the canister of gel. As well as getting your puncture repaired as soon as you can of course!

Hopefully it will go out of date rather than be used! Just gives some peace of mind for longer trips.
