Google Maps - What I did not Know

Well been trying to import the route for the 24th into my SatNav - but having issues.

So been googling, and what I did not know that you have the ability to download Google Maps for the desired area, so when you loose internet - normally your Sat Nav will stop working. But you have a ability to download the area you wish - so your SatNav via google maps will continue to work - even if there is no internet.

Thats good to know. Mind i always use the program called Tyre to plan routes so easy to use and it also allows you to do a variety of files ie Itn for Tomtom and Gpx for Garmin

The issue I have - that I use Navigon on my iphone - had it for years - before TOMTOM was available for the iphone - and only this afternoon from speeking to there technical support I am now able to import my routes into my prefered Satnav.

So I found this as a plan B - option
