As you may know @Andrew Kaccouris has purchased a rather nice Z3 2.2 from forum member @raymond who persuaded him to try zRoadster.org Raymond had already booked a place for the car at the above meet and Andrew decided that he would take his new car along. Just by chance he was the very next car in front of us in the queue to get in. Once inside I was amazed at the number of cars on display, and the car park was just as interesting. We met several forum members and I tried to take a photo of every Zed present, unfortunately some of them didn't pose too well because of the bright sunshine (lovely day). There were a few more Zeds but only can post 20 pics.

We had one or two members/owners on here but have not seen them posting for a very long time.
Think they tend to stick to their own Z1 forums.
I have only ever seen one, back in 1989......!!!!

Great selection. That Healey, the blue over white one, gets my vote.my alltime favourite.

Just got to love the Z8, don't think we will ever see BMW build something like that again.

It is interesting to compare the cockpit of the early Healy with the strange long gearstick coming out of the side of the tunnel with the later 4 speed.

Hi Alan/Marine,
was great meeting you both yesterday and thanks for the goodbye note.
Will post some pics later as have been flat out since getting back.
Thanks for the great pics, and our day out seems to have persuaded John (neighbour) to sell his small boat and invest in something he can enjoy on a more regular basis.
Will keep you informed.
Take care and hopefully catch up at some other events.
Andrew

Hello Alan., I found your forum entry! Mine was the silver 2.2i G11DMC. How many did you actually count there? Between 6 & 10? The most I've yet seen anywhere. Some shows I've been to such as the huge Cranleigh Classic car Show last year, mine was the only one! Maybe people are finally cottoning onto these little gems now! Remember to flash your headlights every time you see another coming towards you. Chances are they won't flash back but keep it going!!!

From the photos I have, there were 14 x Z3s, 9 x Z4s, 1 x Z8, and 1 x Z1. There is a distinct possibility that there were many more that parked in the car park outside of Goodwood. Altogether an excellent turn out. I bet yours is the lowest recorded mileage Z3. It looked like it had just come out of the showroom.
