It was bound to happen, after my last doughnut session I noticed a bit of a rattle,so I jacked her up,low and behold the diff bush has failed.its over 15 years old so I can't complain. So I thought I might replace all the bushes while I was there.what is the best on an M standard or poly?no track days involved .while I was under there I noticed the tank straps are minging .how much of a job is that while I'm there?it might end up being a job for @Lee.i don't know if I've got the knees for it .lol

Once you have the car in the air mate, a couple of hours and you can change that bush and tank straps.

Off the top of my head the straps were around £30 from BMW and the Diff bush was £26 from powerflex. I've always chosen powerflex over OEM because the OEM bushe needs to be pressed into the diff housing. The powerflex bush can be done by hand.

What part of the country you in mate?
