Giving something back. Swimathon 2015

As some of you will know I wouldn't be driving a Z now if it wasn't for my dear departed dad. He lost his battle against cancer in 2013 and I acquired his 118i convertible which I traded for my lovely Z4 just before Christmas.

I am now going to give something back by taking part in the 2015 Swimathon to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. I will be swimming 2.5km in one session over the weekend of 18 & 19 April. That's 125 lengths of the 20m pool at my local gym and will take me about 90 minutes.

There are a couple of ways you can help me raise money for this good cause.

1. Just comment on this thread (words of encouragement preferred...lol). For the first 50 Zorgsters who comment I will donate £50 and then another £1 for every 10 more. That's members not messages!!!! Let's see how many of you lovely people I can get behind me.
2. Sponsor me through my giving page

We're done it as a family for the last 7 years
All the money we raise go to a good cause
It's good to give something back

Press the tab that says "sponsor me" and it takes you to a payment screen. If I remember correctly you then select Paypal or credit card.

When this crazy world will stop spending money on all kind of conflicts and use these funds to fight against the diseases which take our beloved people from us, probably in 6 months they will be able to find the reason and the cure!

Good on ya Gail! We all know somebody who has suffered from or is suffering from this evil illness. I have lost friends and work colleagues from this but also have friends who have beaten it. Without people like you to do the fund raising they'd be more loosers and less winners! Well done you!
