I bought my z3 last August and have been slowly doing bits and pieces to it in preperation for a trip to Spain via Itialy and France this summer. Not doing anything to complex but so far done:

Front discs and pads ( rears done before i bought it)
water pump and fan belt
theromostat and housing
all coolant hoses replaced
front drop links
oil and filters
plugs and leads
diff oil
rocker cover gasket - painted rocker cover at same time
new breather pipe
new rear window fitted

all stuff that you dont really notice much difference in the car but today i replced the front rear bushes with standard bushes and i have to say i thought the car drove great before and questioned wheather i should change them but after changing them wow what a difference the steering is so precise now it just feels like a go cart sooo much more fun. Still to get new front tyres and balance and alingment done which can only improve things further.
Only thing left to do is gearbox oil and another oil and filter change and check spare wheel ( if there is one i have never looked! ) and should be good to go - unless anyone on here can think of anything else i have missed

A good list of jobs done. If not done I'd go for a brake fluid and power steering change. Fuel filter if history unknown perhaps?
