Right, then....

After the failed brake job, I scheduled an appointment with my Indy shop for tomorrow morning to get those sorted. I just installed the driver side impact sensor and for the first time since I owned it, the airbag light is out!

Fixing those are the last of the major items I needed sorted....for now. There’s fixing the stereo speakers and I’m sure I’ll need shocks and suspension work at some point...not counting things that may break due to time...but the the big stuff is almost done! But I’m goddamn proud of fixing that airbag light.

I’m in the middle of a refurb on mine and made the mistake of turning the ignition on yesterday while the seats were out......now I have all the dashboard lights to reset.

Grr! Yeah, that's no good. Is there someone on the board that can loan you a Peake tool? I lucked out...when I bought my OBD reader thing, it has the SRS clearing function, so I didn't have to buy something extra...

What's funny is that I'm more excited about the light being out rather than the fact that the airbags will work as expected (I mean, yeah, that's good too - I'm much more comfortable with the girlfriend driving it with her daughter, now). But for me? Eh - the light was bothering me. I think it was due to the fact that the first car I owed with airbags, I bought in 2000. Everything before that had me slamming into the steering wheel...

I have a plug in code reader and reset tool, so not a problem, just annoyed that I forgot!!!
