I've been paintballing a few times, if you have a decent one they defo have the velocity, it's the logistics that would make it difficult.True story about the paintballs. But I think it was a short-lived thing. I can't imagine the Police either getting close enough or the paintball gun having enough velocity to hit many cars.
The cost of prosecution and subsequent detention would more than pay for the tanks and rounds, I'm inThe police could acquire some of these to aid accuracy and aid shooting paintballs at a distance.

Could be used to cut out all the palaver of using the court’s afterwards too.![]()

Did you use the main gun when you may or may not have popped a cap at the wild boar? Not much of it left mateShot at a few things in RTR but never a fleeing crim. That's a laser range finder on the end of the barrel which enables a first round hit, differant to when I was in as would have to use a .50in ranging gun first and in most all cases even the .50in round would bring the crim car to a nasty end. Love that pic of what I believe is a Cheaftain/Challenger tank, brings back some great memories. My gunner in BAOR on the ranges spotted a wild boar and asked permission to fire, of course I had to refuse.?????????. Ask me next time you see me, wild boar is really quite tasty. Say no more.

It's that insider knowledge of the criminal mind, it gives you the edgeRwhat can I say, I'm a master criminal!![]()
The cost of one round compared to the cost of feeding lots of grunts in a forward position. Considering the positive effect on the public purse - you’re pardonedAndy, the Army cooks with us sent me message saying "thanks cpl A our APC floor is covered and so we prodadly wont need to bleed it out'. Thats with only using .50in Browning, lost a lot of the rear end but enough left for a barbi when we got back a week later. Had to buy em all round, cost me dearly.

Ungrateful lot. A small price to pay to ensure world peace@Redline. IAN I'm not sure the the authorities (German) even at that time would have been so understanding. They had their agents following our every move to try and limit/control the damage especially on farm land. We had to say the boar must have wondered onto the firing range and caught a stray round. Our leader persuaded them to let us keep the remains. We spit roasted it in the centre of our Regt football field.
Bet the grass still doesn't grow on that centre spot even today,(50yrs ago).

Bit of a downer - they give you lots of nice thick steel to hide on and someone else develops AP roundsFirst time in my life I was given a life expectancy of 30min in any major event. So much for armour plating.
Roy.
PS; even my wife thinks I'm worth at least at good 45.![]()
