Hi there

My name's George. I live near Abergavenny in the Black Mountains and have a 1999 Z3 with about 165K on the clock but still going well. The car is in reasonable condition for its age and I have been gradually improving it with a new hood and refurbished wheels. Next on the list is some TLC on the engine to sort out a small oil leak, and then a good look at the suspension. However, it's still great to use all year round and I hope to meet up with fellow Zed lovers in due course. Until recently I was in a flying group at Shobdon airfield but have not been able to justify the cost of flying any more, so the Zed is taking up my enthusiasm in its place. Got to get your fun somewhere and a Z3 is great for that!

I am a semi-retired graphic and website designer and I also play in a blues band called Mid Loaf Crisis (we are all of a certain age and live near the beautiful Sugar Loaf mountain). Hope to meet more of you soon.

Met George today when he paid a visit to the Zedshed Cymru here in Newport after joining our South Wales Whats App Group.
Good look over and a scan with the Launch Tablet Scanner revealed some codes, some cleared ok but some remain that need further attention. George will be contacting @spurs fan in a coupe for some parts in particular drivers Seat belt buckle and tensioner which is one of the remaining codes. I do suspect the airbag light has been masked so will have a delve into that going forward. The OBC has lost its pixels so that's on a shopping list. Once we have cleaned the engine bay further investigation at the front to see where the oil leaks coming from and fix that as well. January 1998 built car and 160,000 on the clock, in remarkable good condition for its age and mileage.
