Hi, I may be interested in this, is the wheel easy to swap I dont want the air bag going off or end up with any warning lights on the dash. Do you know if the wheel the same diameter as the standard Z3 facelift wheel?

This is a standard Z3 wheel. Easy or not is a matter of skill and confidence. I'd probably put it as a bit harder than changing discs and pads.

You need to disconnect the battery and leave it for 30 mins (10 mins is probably fine but let's be safe) then the air bag won't go off. It's a little bit of a jiggle undoing the 2 screws behind that release the air bag centre pod. Then you need to study and remove the electrical connectors carefully to avoid pulling the ribbon cable out from the cassette. Make some marks to align the steering wheel when it goes back - you'll kick yourself if you don't as it's painful to get straight otherwise. And then it's just a single nut to undo. That might need a breaker bar. And strictly speaking should be done by bracing the wheel not leveraging against the steering lock mechanism.

No need to disconnect the battery - I've never done it yet. Just don't turn the ignition on when you have the airbag off or you will need to reset it. Everything else as described above or in the knowledge base - search for removing interior

Something that I would like to add
@BillyHughesZ3UK is the wheel off a facelift zed or a pre facelift as I have both and each have that steering wheel but the airbags are different.
They look the same but a pre facelift is a single stage airbags the facelift zed is a multi stage airbags.
They have different part numbers so I have to assume that it is important that you got the correct one for the age of zed .
Stephen.

That being the case, I would be very interested if this wheel is suitable for pre face lift. Perhaps you could let me know please Billy?
