Full set of GENUINE Style 42 STAGGERED BOLTED SPLIT RIMS with a difference,
These wheels are 8”x17” Fronts and 8.5” x17” Rears,
Very rare set of wheels, most fronts are 7.5” x 17”, however an option when new was to have 8“ x 17“ fronts.
The wheels have been checked for balance and true running, they have then been split, chemically dipped and stripped, blasted, primed, coloured, lacquered and baked to give the maximum protection, then professionally reassembled
Instead of the usual machining of the outer lip I have opted for a new type of chrome finish on the outer lip which actually gives the impression the outer lip is machined, however I have kept the original BMW silver centres, See pictures.
I have already sold 2 sets of these wheels with this finish and I must admit they look Fantastic, they are much more durable having 3 coats of protection on the outer lip, there is no chance of the outer lip ‘worming’ when the lacquer gets stone chipped Allowing water ingress.
Front wheels are 36 11 1 095 342 8” x 17”
Rears wheels are 36 11 1 094 374 8.5” x 17”
