Agreed, very dangerous for the UK and Scotland specificallyDangerous Lady, we have just got over the referendum debate and now it seems to have reared its ugly head once more as the SNP have taken so many seats.

But Scotland has had a referendum, or do those wanted to split keep calling for another one, and another until they win?Dangerous Lady, we have just got over the referendum debate and now it seems to have reared its ugly head once more as the SNP have taken so many seats.
I think that is top of the agenda Gaz, sadly. But Scotland has had a referendum, or do those wanted to split keep calling for another one, and another until they win?
Just about spot on Gary, although the majority said no, the SNP are committed to splitting up the union. I wish that their was a mandatory time limit between referendums but it seems not.But Scotland has had a referendum, or do those wanted to split keep calling for another one, and another until they win?
Good idea to keep the peace on the home front!!!!!!!!!!!!!I agree @POG ... How I voted is between me and the ballot paper....I have never told anyone, even my husband.
Fill me in on this, please. Scotland wants to leave the UK? What are the feelings on this? @FRANKIE, last year we had a referendum in Scotland to see if the people of Scotland wanted to leave the union or not, it was a close call with 45% wanting to leave and 55% wanting to stay. How you feel about this I guess depends on how you voted, myself I was glad to stay part of the UK.Fill me in on this, please. Scotland wants to leave the UK? What are the feelings on this? Hmmmmm, interesting question you pose there Frankie. The answer could be in galacticaly long proportions. Suffice to say that there are many differing opinions with some very strong feelings on this subject. My view (other views are available) that we are stronger together and Scotland leaving the UK would destabilise the remaining home nations and may well take Scotland several generations to get on a stable global economy. I feel that the SNP are leading Scotland and the UK down a road it neither needs nor the majority want. That aside, the English would no longer be able to refer to Scotland as the largest County in England.Fill me in on this, please. Scotland wants to leave the UK? What are the feelings on this? My understanding Tony is that these laws are about to be changed to reflect English votes for English laws so at least that is some progress........ and I don't agree with people who don't want to be a part of the UK having any say in making our laws.
Tony.
We went through the same here with our French province of Quebec. Didn't work for them doubt if it will in Scotland at least for now! JIMBut Scotland has had a referendum, or do those wanted to split keep calling for another one, and another until they win?
There was something similar with the Philippines. We were a protectorate over them. A vote was taken in their country. They had the choice to remain a protectorate, become a State, or independence. They chose independence. Now they are, at best, a third world country struggling for survival. Puerto Rico had to make the same choice. Known as the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, they are an unincorporated commonwealth of the United States. They enjoy all of the benefits and security of being part of the United States. They pay no federal taxes, only those imposed by Puerto Rico. When I worked on a cruise ship for Caesars, I acted as an escort on tour buses that went out from the ship to different parts of the island. The tour guide was telling the passengers how nice it was getting all the benefits of being part of the US and not having to pay any of the taxes. What a mistake that was!!! Most of the people on the ship were retirees who had paid taxes all their lives, and here was someone telling them they were getting everything from the federal government for free!! The guide immediately shut his mouth about it as he could see things were rapidly turning ugly. FrankieWe went through the same here with our French province of Quebec.
