Hello all -
I have a Z3 1999 2.0 6 cylinder.
The gearbox has developed a sloppy gear change between 4&5.
It becomes vague between those gears and could be placed into almost any gear as you change down.
I have had it looked at for linkage and possible wear around gear lever - basic stuff and all seems ok.
Therefore my mechanic has advised to swap the gear box for a secondhand one.
It would seem that there is no one who can recon the box - only one person in the country ?
Due to BMW not wishing to assist with parts ?
Any how does any know any one who does gearbox work on Z3 getrag boxes or has anyone a low mileage replacement box for sale ??
