Here's a nice cheap repair / upgrade I thought I'd share (@Mint gave me the heads up on this ... Cheers Dave)

I had two broken boot gas strut sockets on my Zed, I tried to repair them by trying to glue them but there's just too much pressure on them, so all four of the inferior plastic ones have now been replace with metal ones from SGS. (Other suppliers are available :whistle:) £1.74 each plus VAT, adds a bit of bling too ;) cant be bad. Link attached.

BTW they also do the replacement struts for the Z3
