Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement fuel pump?
I've seen a Pierburg on OnLineCarPatrs.co.uk for £135.72
Are these any good?

Thanks Guys.

I thought the pump was a sealed unit.
I may be able to fashion a tool in the workshop.
Can they be repaired?

I'm not sure who the oe supplier of Z3 fuel pumps were, but Pierburg are a good brand. They were the oe manufacturer when I was replacing the pump in my old Golf GTI.

Mine went very noisy a couple of years ago and CPC in Amersham changed it for me for (from memory) about £220.

Thanks for the replies.

Managed to get the pump going again.
I think it had seized due to lack of use.
I could see a gear when looking at the pump base and used a pin to turn and free it up.
It may keep going but I will keep and eye/ear out for it failing. Probably at the worst moment possible.
