Be aware there are different shades of Montreal Blue. Some are darker and flatter than others.

The Halfords rattle can shade is pretty universal.

Do any of you know what year the paint code changed?

I've only ever known one Montreal blue, colour code 297. Any variation will be a slash and a number after that. 297/2 or something like that. The darker blue was Orient blue.
