Anyone ever replaced front shock absorbers on a BMW 1 series ? I have the shocks but wouldn't mind a step by step guide on how to and if any special tools required. Any help would be braw.

Thanks Brian. Rather do it myself than pay labour charges. Looks straight forward enough.
Use plenty af penetrating fluid on the pinch bot that hold the strut/damper into the hub carrier. Also undo the nut that is the top of the shock absorber in the engine bay a couple of turns first as they can be done up very tight and are a pain to undo when off the car.
