FRONT NUMBER PLATES ????????MISSING

    As any one else noticed a lot of cars without them,even z 3/4s i thought it was a offence,and also black ones as well i think lots of cars look great ,missing front plates,but i am surprized you are not pulled for it??.pete

    All about vanity as far as I can tell.

    I saw a Ferrari at a local petrol station with the smallest number I've seen on a car recently. Can't have been any bigger than 6 x 2 inches. Reminded me of the plates bikers put on the back so they don't get caught by Gatsos.

    ive heard that no plate is a 30 pound fine.

    illegal plate is 60 pounds.

    plate doesnt look bad on a zed, but bloody aweful on an alfa!

    I agree, that 'offset' on the Alfas looks bloody awful.

    black plates will get you a slap on the wrists as they are technically legal just not in the right context. No front plate will get you a £30 fine as you can run front facing speed cameras.
