For some reason my front grills are not the same? Both have chrome oval outer but one has chrome fins and the other black fins? It’s a 3.0 2000 year roadster and obviously would like to replace one of them to make it correct. Also wondering how many of the 3.0 roadsters were still on the road as haven’t seen any locally in Cornwall?
Thanks
Gareth

Does that mean they should be chrome as not sure where the odd one came from as like it when I bought her. Mine is also Topaz Blue with beige interior .

I thought they all had black fins with chrome surround.

Doesn't break it down a lot, but it'll have to do

As for grilles

Interesting to see the total numbers haven’t really changed much over many years. More now sorn, but still around!

Thanks and will pick up a chrome marker pen to make the black fins the correct chrome colour.

Is there anywhere which gives a breakdown of the actual number of the different variants on the road or are they just lumped into one category of Z3 roadster?

You can break it down by engine size but the group allocations are dependant on what is recorded on the V5.

Mine is also a 2000 3.0i in Topaz; both grills have chrome surround and fins.

Yep, chrome surround and fins. Replaced driver side this summer because it didn't survive removal to release a stuck bonnet catch. Annoyingly, it's more expensive than the black fin version. About £90 after friendly dealer discount.
