the front badge on my z4 e85 wanted changing they seem to sell for £50 -£60 i suppose because they are 70mm a unusual size for a bmw got to thinking the wheel insert is 70mm cost not much on ebay remove a grill undo 2 nuts remove old badge cut the fixing tabs from wheel insert use silicon sealer to fix you cannot tell its not a £50 badge ....yes i know i am tight .

Wheel badges are (generally) 68mm dia. But as I have told myself in the past, could you tell a 1mm difference in size?

Seem to think I used a 72mm one, same as the boot I think. It's a while back, but I think that is what I did when I put black badges on mine.
