Hi guys
Just had MOT and an advisory is the (antirollbar pin or bush) the testers words both sides.
He said when I do the front brakes I'm pretty much there for the job, so I'm assuming he means the droplink bush, but decided to replace the rollbar bushes, drop links and banana shaped bar complete with end fitting bush etc.
Can find all the bits on various websites but prices seem to vary from a few pounds to a new mortgage so if anyone has bought any of this stuff recently any clue as to where from and what sort of money is needed.
The BMW OEM site want getting on for a grand it seems whereas some other sites seem to be under £300 for what appears to be the same, I do appreciate that quality of the parts comes into it but is there really £300 difference from an OEM from BMW to another from a general supplier?
Any input would be gratefully received
Thank you
DD

Agree with Meyle (especially Meyle HD, which supposedly improves on OEM designs) and Febi

Lemforder is also good/reliable for suspension bits

I just did mine with Meyle too - remember to get some silicon grease to lube the rubber bushes when you fit parts back together - you will thank me later!! :)

Yes thanks for the tip, have done similar before and have the grease but memory not what it used to be so that has jogged it a bit.
Have bitten the bullet and gone nuts changing everything including the discs, calipers, pads and hoses at the same time as the suspension bits and will probably change the oil and filter while it is all up in the air.
Must be mad according to my wife, rolling about on the floor at my age, but it grieves me paying a garage to do something I can do.
Or used to be able to do some years ago.
Still good at swearing though.........
Cheers
