Hi, sorry for this newbie question, but is it safe to just undo the front and rear stabiliser bars on my Z3 2.2i ? I want to remove and powder coat them. Many thanks

Yes just undo the fixings, drop links and bar clamp bushes. Don't drive the car with them off the car.

Might be worth replacing the drop links/bushes whilst you are at it. :)

The front bar drops easy once the car is on stands, the rear bar you might need to drop the spare wheel to give you enough room to turn the bar round to remove.
