I recently got a car from a friend and he was not very tall so he had fitted some brackets that made the seats go a little bit higher about 2/3 cm and also extended a bit the reach of the seat to allow it to be closer to the steering wheel again 2/3 cm - this is no longer required.
The brackets are solid steel well made and come with all the hardware, they bolt to the chassis on the factory points and then you bolt the seat to the rails.
These could be use left or right so other possible use would be for a kid to be able to go on the passenger seat and see a bit better out the window/windscreen etc.
Also as they make the seat go higher maybe someone with back problems could benefit from the extra seat height.
