Hi all,

Still looking in to the "Forbidden" error you may have seen earlier, but looks like it's OK now... so carry on!

Gaz
I'm getting this very often now @GazHyde for some reason. Happens when trying to post, like etc and even trying to load pages.

You should be the one that's forbidden on here now with that Audi TT :ymdevil: but will let you off for all the good work you do for us

Hopefully the server changes will sort that out for good. Rather frustrating that it's been running seamlessly for so long, so guess it's due some tinkering!

Bit of advance warning, the site will likely be moved to it's new server at the weekend. Hoping this may resolve the forbidden error.

James or I will post up a message before he starts the copy process and I'll keep you updated where I can beforehand.

Cheers Gary. I've been getting the forbidden notice a few times since we got home. Didn't get it at all while we were away.

Tony.

I am still getting it. I am trying to upload actual photos to one of my threads, to replace the linked flickr ones that don't show up anymore.
Your forbidden because your at work and shouldn't be on the forum :banghead:

I haven't had it since the update, I usually get it when I have too many pages open. I have just had a resource limit reached message though.

I was getting a forbidden message occasionally but none since migration.

Would be helpful to James/Gary if people state time of error plus device and browser being used. These problems are often as a result of something client side that the server doesn’t like.

Occasionally it’s a PICNIC problem too

Mine may be different as it's a 'security' error
But I have just tried again.

Screenshot 2019-06-07 at 21.28.07.png

This time on my MacBook using Safari
It was at home 9:18pm and 32 seconds, and I was also sitting on the left hand side of my 3 seater sofa.

last time at 2:20pm yesterday (forgot to make a note of the seconds) on on a windows PC running Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge, but I was wearing different clothes.....

Yes It may be a "person in the chair" error because I don't have a degree in computing.

PS I have tried switching it off and back on again, so that should appease all the IT guys with their usual fix.
Normally after that stage the IT department would provide me with a new laptop because if the above has been tried, then they are flummoxed.

I await the postman. =))

In true IT fashion, your support request has to be rejected for the following reasons.
1. Time of incident not properly qualified - GMT or Zulu?
2. Are you left handed or right?
3. You were using Windows.

Due to current financial constraints, replacement systems now have reduced specifications. A reporters notepad and pencil will be dispatched soon.

Seriously though, the transition seems to have been smooth from a users perspective. Well done guys
