Our new 5 series has the handbook on the idrive but still quicker to look in the book??? The 1 series has a 'power and torque meter' on it's idrive found it when I was playing the other day but still not sure how useful it is.

God forbid if they ever go wrong some poor mechanic has to break the news 'That will be very expensive sir/madam'. I guess these are now built in scrappage scheme cos when they go wrong will be more than the car is worth.
