Hi there, lovely car. What is the mot history like? How many owners has it had? Looking to replace a much loved and long gone 1.9 as a surprise for my Mrs, so car would have to be solid, reliable and watertight!!

Nothing to write home about, looks pretty good to me, about 5 fails since 2005 but that's a sign that things are getting picked up and dealt with.

Thank you for your e mail and interest in the vehicle. The MOT history is excellent and as you are probably aware can be viewed on the DVLA website. There are also some paper based MOT Certs prior to those recorded on the DVLA Website in the document folder. As far as I am aware the car has had no major issues throughout its life. It passed its last MOT with no advisories on Feb 4th and has only done about 40 miles since. I am pretty fanatical about the condition of my cars and can say the Z3 A1. The V5 is showing the vehicle to have had 11 keepers however the documentation indicates 8. The vehicle has had a few private plate changes early on and I suspect they may have gone as keeper changes. I have experienced that before with Classic vehicles. Nevertheless for a 25 year old vehicle its not that many. The only reason I am selling is that I have two other vehicles, garage space is limited and the Z3 is just not getting the use it deserves. I should however mention that there is another ZRoadster member already in hot pursuit of purchasing the vehicle however its not over until the fat lady sings.

Thanks for your prompt reply, I'm afraid the amount of owners puts me off. I appreciate this may seem irrational to many but I've always bought low owner cars. Best of luck with the sale, I'm sure it won't hang around. Gbn

Thank you for your interest. The Z3 is now sold pending collection.. Good luck in finding a fine example with low owners, Its a shame but 2 seater convertibles tend to be an impulse buy for the majority hence they change hands a lot.

Sensible choice, I think you have got more chance in getting a low owner low mileage z4 at a reasonable price. I rather like the look of the 3l Z4 Coupe myself however they look to be getting rather pricey and are as rare as hens teeth around here.
