I love the ‘technology can improve bad drivers’ one. As somebody who regularly drives around the country for work, you get to see some impressively bad driving in modern cars with many of these advances installed.

Parking sensors have a lot to answer for as well. So many people stop when they first hear them make a noise therefore leaving half a car's length between them and the next car.

Was sat in my car the other day and a car parked in front of me, I could hear the front sensors beeping. The driver did no more than stop and reverse back until the sensors stopped making a noise before they turned off the engine and got out!

The rain in a convertable deffo works, as I can testify today. However there is a sweet spot - if you drive too fast it gets pushed up over the top of the windscreen

I can confirm on the Scottish run last autumn that there is definitely a certain spot when the heaviness of the rain does enter the cabin :D

My wife used to put our Honda van in park at EVERY red light , someone told her it would save gas , she believed them , not me .
