Watched this vintage car rally as they passed through our area last year and thought it was amazing.

List of participants and their cars below (sorry its a long list). Viewing points should be published nearer the rally (17-19th April). Looks as if they will be going right past our doorstep, but unfortunately we will be in Wales.

Checked on the Endurorally site and some more details have been added for the route. We are heading south on the 19th April and going to try to view the cars at the lunch break. Endeavour Wharf, Whitby. A few other stopping points have been detailed as well. Currently 114 cars invoved covering the years 1917 to 1941.

For our friends over the pond there is a coast to coast rally in June 2015. http://www.endurorally.com/pages/the-2nd-trans-america-challenge-2015 The route is fairly well to the north but there are several members who may be able to get to a viewing point.

We will be driving down from near Durham taking the A174 through Loftus then down the coastroad and aim to get to Whitby by 11:00am. Will PM you with car and phone details. We parked up on Endevour Wharf in Whitby on 17th April 2015 to watch the 110 cars taking part in the rally pass through over a 2 hour period.Some photos added to media galley (the thumbnails are cropped so open the photo) . 4 Frazer Nash BMWs, a couple of MGs (I think they have a bit of a following from Z.org forum members) and few of my favorites (Bentleys) and an assortment of others which appealed to me.

The Flying Scotsman is scheduled to run in 2016, route details and dates at this time have not been published.
