Hi All,
Any recommendations for paint to go over top of original floor paint to give a little extra rustproofing protection underneath.
Have read not to wire brush existing coating which is generally decent condition just road grime and only one small area where slight rust may be starting.
Ideally grey smooth finish that can be wiped clean and maintained.
Will be spraying chassis internally with Dinitol ML afterwords similarly to the excellent job previously done by Robert @roadvoyager1
Also has anyone used Rustoleum on suspension parts etc with good results.
Thanks in advance,
Malcolm.

Where you have rust I would recommend you take that back to bare metal. If you read my thread in my sig you can see what products I’ve used in my approach similar to others using an epoxy paint, tiger seal or something like this https://www.frost.co.uk/extreme-pai...MIouH887m4hAMVb46DBx05pA6cEAQYECABEgLyW_D_BwE to get that near oem textured finish and is over paintable. I can’t recall the RAL code but it’s in my thread. As for underneath protection Lanogaurd is a clear protection product.
