Fitting splitters?

self drilling self-tappers to secure, We could raise the front of the car enough to be able to get a cordless drill under, but would be even better with a cordless screwdriver if you use self drilling screws, not as much room needed.
PS if you do it yourself you know you will do it right, I just don't trust others with my stuff.
Thanks Pete, out of interest did you pre-drill any small pilot holes for the self tappers? I'm thinking of getting one of those cheapish cordless screwdrivers, as I've always used muscles :)

Tim, this is what we used, they are called "truss-head self-drilling self-tappers"




No pilot hole needed, and a cordless screwdriver will be perfect.
If you can get a Li-On version they don't go flat if you haven't used them for a while, and are a bit more powerful.

Cheers Pete, where do you get those Truss Head screws from as they would be perfect, have done a google search etc but can't find any :-? would need 25mm length :)
