Fitting a Blaupunkt... What about the multichanger?

Treated the Z to an updated stereo, just waiting on an iso converter plug I've ordered. I was wondering what happens to the cd multichanger? I'm not planning on removing it as one day I might go back to standard .. Will it just be redundant or will it work somehow on an auxiliary setting?

I think the oem streo and changer has its own type of connection so unless an adapter is availble it will just sit unplugged and redundant.

My understanding is only an OEM head unit works with the OEM multi-changer.

I’m not aware it’s as simple as a converter plug.

You could always remove it as it gives loads more space, put it away and refit if needed, only 3 bolts and 2 multi plugs and its out
