Brought the hardtop a week back and the first drive all be it short made my cringe alittle with how noisy it was.
I set about stripping all the covers and adjusting the brackets the roof has sat square and the gaps all seem correct now.
I had a few little caps and covers i needed but all where found through the local dealer and all parts in the uk to my surprise.
The roof liner was alittle worse for wear so i stripped that out from the roof and set about resolving that. A bit of spray contact adhesive and a couple of hours got it all bonded back.
I found no wiring to the rear screen was present at all so an advantage in stripping the linero out made that clear as there was no way to know but its all working now.
The roof had a couple of rubbers missing from the underside that press down on the soft top when its down stopping it bounce the source of the banging on the first drive.
All put back to gether and put back on the car and the test drive was night and day far more refined than the first attempt.
Love the look of the car with it fitted its a different car to look at.
I have a new sealing strip for the rear glass so wilk get a windscreen compay to remove it and fit the new seal, all in all very pleased with the result :)

Looks great. Didn’t realise there were black trim bits around the front roof mounts. I’ll have to get them sorted for both mine

Looking good...
Not much in the way of roof lining though on the OEM compared to the Wiesmann.

I brought the front left cover and the two covers for the mounting brackets to cover the holes when the roof is off along with the two rubber buffers for the under side and a new window seal cost about £60
