Z4 (new style) no wave on the way back. roof down.

On the subject of waves from Z4 drivers, passed three of them on route back from Shropshire yesterday, waved and flashed to them all and not a single acknowledgement - miserable gits !!!

What's even more worrying is that I waved to a Z3 also and he totally ignored me too.

What is it with some folks - A simple wave to a fellow enthusiast doesn't cost anything and does have a certain feel good factor.

Won't put me off though - I will still grin and wave like a lunatic when I see a fellow zed so if you see me around, please wave back and make an old man very happy

i guess what it is to us our car are more than just a car, a tool for happiness ( till it goes wrong ) other drivers it is just that a tool to get them from a to b more so the z4, i saw 2 z4 1 z3 waved at them al and got the w.t.f. look back but to make things better when we were parked up on the hills a 3 came along and both people in the car waved, i was so shocked i did not think to take a photo, + i did not catch what z3 it was good on them any way

Yesterday was a good and a bad day for waves....
One early 140 Jag... nice wave exchanged....
Several other early convertibles.. all waved and even a 'hello' was heard as we passed along the men valley route..

Then the bad bit... three Z4's... two with tops up.. not a thing.. no wave and no headlights....

Saved by a 1.9 Silver Z3 that went nuts.... Waving, Horn and lights... So what can we take from the above... Z3 and other soft tops seem to be enjoying life.... Z4 owners.. are they thinking.. I should have got that Z3... hahaha

Joking aside, I think that some of the Z4 owners are possibly new car owners and are not really into the fun they can experience. Pity.. its their loss..

My lovely other half has threatened to leave me (even at 60mph on a main road) if I continue to wave at other Zs. Apparently the social embarrassment of me waving with only 10% chance of a wave back is destroying the little street cred I have in her eyes.

The lack of a wave back is actually all the more reason to try and wave even harder at the next one I reckon?
