First main post - Stupid question

Guys, this is the first post for me and so not sure if there is a particular way and area to ask the question (apologies if it is all wrong) but I am unable to find any clear answers to replacing the standard amp in a 1998 z3 which has a cassette business head unit. I am sure the question has been asked and answered but cannot find it..
I am replacing the footwell speakers with 3 ohms speakers and want to keep the original head unit, but need to upgrade the amp without major heart surgery to the sound system. Is there an amp out there that makes the swap over straight forward…. Any advice gladly received. Thank you

I had this one fitted as part of a full upgrade some years ago.
