The seller delivered my bright red 2001 Z3 3.0 last Monday. The car is beautiful and drives great. Unfortunately I haven't been able to take it out of my garage for the last several days. There is a ton of smoke and ash in the air from a very large wild fire about 200 miles north of me. Everything in my back yard is covered in a fine coat of ash and the air is verging on being not breathable. I'll try and post a photo when I can get the car to a nice spot for a photo.

Looking forward to seeing the car but don't blame you for your caution. We have been following the news on the unbelieveable wild fires on the west coast. I know the fear of them as, on occasion, we have been threatened with forrest fires as I live in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. But nothing compared to what's going on out there. The loss of life and the loss of property. How many lives have been ruined..... I hope you are safe where you are...........................Frankie

Thanks guys. I'm in no danger from the fire. It's around 200 miles north of my house but the smoke and ash have blown over a very wide section of northern California.
Just dreadful to see such devastation in Cali. I can't imagin the fear of those poor people who lost their lives.

I was looking for a red 3L here in UK but was unable to find one and ended up with a Silver one but they are very nice motors. Look forward to your pics when ash stops. Geoff
